Hey, I say, the more companies releasing this stuff, the better our chances of getting DRAGONSLAYER and dozens of other desirable titles. This is a great start!!

Shout is apparently also releasing Universal's PORTRAIT OF A LADY, a DVD and MOD reissue, on Blu.

Both of these Shout! BD titles are already up for pre-order at Amazon.com, if anybody wants them...

Hey, Shout! As you expand into Blu-rays of Universal titles (and provided that the studio has no interest of its own) how about the 70s disaster films we had a thread about recently: EARTHQUAKE, TWO-MINUTE WARNING, ROLLERCOASTER, THE HINDENBURG, GRAY LADY DOWN, the other AIRPORTs? You'll have several buyers guaranteed...http://www.hometheaterforum.com/t/317783/question-on-rollercoaster-1977-two-minute-warning-1976-and-the-hindenburg-1975

Cliff Mac posted at another forum that the only titles they could get from Paramount were THE DUELLISTS and The WALKING TALL Trilogy. Shout asked for a number of other titles, but Paramount said no.

A shame, because there are some titles that Paramount has that could really be given a decent crack at Blu-ray.
