Just bought a new HP dv6 that has the fingerprint scan option for username/password for the laptop itself and any site you visit. It's actually pretty cool. A friend recommended always using it because if I somehow get a virus or whatever that logs your keystrokes, this scan technology doesn't actually use keystrokes so there is no way for someone to log them and get your username/password. Is this true or is it just a cool short cut that saves some typing?
