I need to install speakers at my restaurant. Its not a sports bar but would like to be able to put football games over the speakers on Sunday. Mostly used for background music. I have no amp, receiver, or speakers... Any suggestions. Can I get anything decent for $500?

The cheapest I could find was $876...much more than your $500.00 budget... 3 pairs of in celing speakers - 6 speakers total: MP-R50 Multi Purpose In-Ceiling Speakers: $59.00 per pair = $177.00 http://www.htd.com/P...eiling-speakers DMA-1240 High Efficiency Multi-Channel Amplifier http://www.htd.com/P...ifiers/DMA-1240 - $699.00 Total system = $876

I found a cheaper one....but it is still $729.00 and not 400....but this one has 8 speakers instead of 6....a little more sound at a little cheaper price...it also comes with 4 volume controls....so you can set up 4 different stereo pairs of speakers, and control each pairs volume with a seperate controller.

Dayton Audio ADS4Z 4 Zone Distributed Audio System

At the center of the system resides the Dayton MA1240 twelve channel amplifier driving four sets of Dayton CS620C 6-1/2" 2-way ceiling speakers paired with four Dayton VR60R rotary audiophile grade volume controls.
