Moe, I stand corrected. Unfaithfully Yours is indeed still available from the Criterion Collection, though Amazon only has it only from third-party sellers. Criterion sometimes licenses on a non-exclusive basis; Sony is putting out another Criterion title, Anatomy of a Murder, through its MOD program this month. Universal released its own version of My Man Godfrey last year. Justin, Say One for Me wasn't in the FCA press release. Thanks A Million was. Sometimes they announce stuff and pull it back. This happened to Deadline USA. This week's column covers Warner Archives Collection's Philo Vance Collection, the Dead End Kids in Hell's Kitchen, West of Shanghai with Boris Karloff, the uber-rare Rare of the Dragon, and the Lucille Ball-Victor Mature musical Seven Days' Leave.

That's an excellent article by Lou about the Philo Vance collection. Very informative overview of the entire series.

And I second the motion for a TCM Vault collection of the Universal properties.

Can you confirm that Holiday For Lovers is in the proper CinemaScope format, Mr Lumenick?

Thanks for the article. I have always been a Webb fan, particularly of his comedic and lighter roles but also of his work in a film like Titanic. I too have noticed that we now have 3 Webb films in blu ray. I keep hoping for a Webb blu set or sets like that done for Kazan.

Maybe a Blu set with three of Clifton Webb's biggest hits: Sitting Pretty, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Three Coins in the Fountain.

I'll second that. But add in Woman's World; a star-studded CinemaScope spectacular that needs to be saved from going to the hell of FCA's P&S MOD discs. The Man Who Never Was and The Razor's Edge would be quite welcome as well.

I also noticed the significant upswing of Clifton Webb material both on blu-ray and MOD (yet no Sitting Pretty. WHY?). The MODs also are some of the better looking releases they've had for the most part. I hope to see more.

Per the latest column MGM has leased some films to TGG Direct as MOD double features. No titles listed in column. A check at Amazon found some examples.

Fortune Cookie / Buona Sera, Mrs Campbell $6.95 Hawaii / Needful Things - 3 DVD Set (Amazon.com Exclusive) $9.96 Dr Goldfoot & Bikini Machine / Dr Goldfoot & Girl Bombs $8.71 Along Came Jones / Fury at Showdown $9.70 Hospital / Bank Shot $5.99 Foreign Intrigue / Quiet American $5.99 1984 / Megaville $6.95

many others

Hawaii? MOD? At the bottom of a double bill? Someone must have it in for Julie Andrews.

Victor/Victoria also went MOD.

Despite the fact that they both feature Max Von Sydow, HAWAII and NEEDFUL THINGS make a rather strange double bill!!

Can anyone confirm if that release of Hawaii is different than the old MGM release?  The description starts with "This restored film version..." which makes me wonder if it is uncut or at least more uncut that the previous DVD.

Here's a rundown of his recent columns, Robert:

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

There's a thread about the TGG HAWAII. And I picked up their ONE EYED JACKS. Both are crap.
