http://www.kickstart...ject?ref=searchFormer coworker is running a campaign for his Karma Sauce. He would bring samples to work when he was developing it. If you like salsa, or high quality condiments, this is great stuff.

Lots of Wallets from kickstarter. I haven't bought any of them but ended up with one from Saddleback Leather. However here's a few you might find interesting.

Video Watchdog, the greatest movie magazine ever, is trying to raise money to digitize and enhance all their magazines for all devices. They need to raise a huge sum to do all 176 issues but this magazine is an invaluable resource to film fans so I hope they make it.

Joe Dante, John Landis, Leonard Maltin and Ernest Dickerson are all in a video in that link voicing support. Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino are also long time readers of the magazine. If it's good enough for me and all those guys, everyone should give some money. :)

Got my Animal Spirits t-shirt from Planet Money (and have been enjoying their series on the T-shirt creation and economics).

Are those wallets the new thing? I've never seen anything like that, and I don't really understand what the benefit is. I've seen ads for a new super-slim wallet (which piqued my interest) but it wasn't like those.

The Verge posted that. I gave up halfway through. It felt like the work of high school students with a budget.

"Oculus Rift changed the way we play". Uhh, exaggeration much? The thing isn't even on the market yet and they are acting like it has made a sea change in the way games are played. As far as a marketable product it is still nothing but vaporware until an actual production unit hits store shelves.

On one hand, that is freaking awesome; on the other, I am sure that many laws are being broken. :)

Since I haven't funded anything in awhile, and all past campaigns have sent me my stuff, I just deleted my account and disconnected my Facebook tie until something else presents itself.
