Hey Guys! So i have a decent sized basement which is not particularly used for anything. I decided to Setup a Mini Home theater here. I'am a total noob when it comes to these,, but i have selected a few products that might work. 1) Yamaha RX-V671 Receiver - http://www.amazon.co...cp_ob_e_title_1 2) Panasonic SC-BTT195 3D Blu-Ray Disc 5.1 Surround Sound Home Theater System - http://www.amazon.co...LU6/ref=lh_ni_t 3) Optoma hd33 - http://www.projector...Optoma-HD33.htm I still need to find a screen. The overall setup shouldn't cost me more than $2000-$2100. I use it mainly for gaming and Blu ray movies. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions? Thanks.:)

The Panasonic is a HTiB and comes with a receiver. You don't need that with the Yamaha. And the Yamaha is a much better choice (full disclosure, I have that model). What you need is just a speaker package, like these (no attempt to shop for price): http://www.amazon.co...ds=5.1 speakers http://www.amazon.co...ds=5.1 speakers And of course a BR player, but they are commodities at anything but the high level, so just grab one cheap.

How about these 7.1 speakers? - http://www.amazon.co...ds=7.1 speakers
