In the studio days, the protaganist would wake up and find it was ALL A DREAM. I preferred that style of storytelling to the absurd finale of The Game.

I've been waiting for this announcement for 5 years. I wonder if the delay had anything to do with Universal's rights expiring. In any case, I'm happy it's finally coming out.

Even though I have some huge beefs with many of the things that happen in the movie (in short, just too many convoluted things that have to work perfectly in order to get the desired outcome) I'll still likely pick it up as it is often interesting and entertaining.

Good news, the cover art does not do much for me, I still prefer the Criterion LD for looks
