Glad to see the show back, as I enjoyed the premiere.

I would have thought there would have been some way for Harvey and Mike to maintain their secret and continue to fool everyone else as long as possible, basically going down the Psych route.

But interesting to see that the cat is out of the bag this quickly, with Jessica already finding out within the first 5 minutes of the episode, as I would have thought Trevor had no credibility, due to his past troubles.

Have to say, that Donna is really attractive, even more so in the premiere. And funny as well, as I enjoy her moments with Harvey.

I have to say that this show has really turned into some good stuff for me. I was pretty surprised by this week's episode, and look forward to the rest of the season. Even though it started with an original concept, what's unique is how well it's expanded on that and really grown into a full ensemble show, where characters like Donna become integral parts of this.

I agree - I think this show has avoided the pitfall that many shows would have fallen into by not leaning too heavily on Mike's ability. In fact, it's often little more than background.
I really like the addition of Daniel and all the turmoil he causes with Harvey and Jessica, and that they've made Louis stronger - he's still a douche, but he's good at what he does while being a douche.
While other shows are disappearing or waning, Suits is picking up!

I really thought it lent Louis a lot of credibility having him really hurt - and not as a ploy - over the loss of a pet this week. I thought that was a good touch. In fact, Louis has had two storylines I really liked. That one, and prior, when the associates complained about the work, and he came out and said "ok, I did this brief, that brief, this brief.. and I did it better then you could have. But I give you opportunity you're not getting anywhere else to build real experience. And yes it's grueling. But you're going to be better for it". I thought that was a fantastic moment for the show. Sure, he's a douche. But he's not a "bad guy".

I thought the pet story was a little weak but agree about the previous storyline - again, shows why he's there. He's not as great as Harvey, but he's a beast of a lawyer and why he's there.
And I like what they're doing with Daniel - you still think that as soon as the situation presents itself he'll turn on them, but they're characterizing him in such a way that there's doubt as to whether he's reformed.

Yeah, I enjoyed the return of this show. It won't be too long until Louis finds out about Mike's secret, as the hiring freeze will only delay the inevitable. This has to be the first time I've seen Rachel Harris outside of the "I Love the..." series on VH1, as I remember wondering who she was, exactly.

Just discovered this on netflix. It is absolutely excellent! I'm a couple episodes into season 3 atm and very impressed, although I was a bit confused with all the merger talk and Jessica switching sides, etc but I'm pretty sure I fell asleep for most of one episode late last night. I'll share more later. It's late.

Glad you found the show! This is one of my favorite shows (as you can see). Guess there hasn't been much talk about it here, but I'm still avidly watching.

Elizabeth - I think it's just excellent! Except they cut off season 3 in Netflix to only 10 episodes. Hopefully the rest of the season gets pushed to Netflix as soon as the current season starts up again on HBO. But for now it's an annoying cliffhanger where there wasn't even supposed to be one! Argh!

Other than Mike, I really like Donna's character. it works for me on multiple levels and I love that she's part of Specter's inner circle.

Yes, not much talk about it here, and Season 1 doesn't even seem to have a thread. I must find another spot online that has more people chatting about shows, but I wouldn't know the first place to look.

I think this should actually just become the "Suits" thread. That's really weird NetFlix doesn't have the rest of S3 up yet. (BTW, the show airs on the USA network.)

Donna's a big fan favorite -- she just knows and sees it all and what to say in that Donna way.

Sometimes I go to imdb to see what people thought about the latest occurence, though I don't usually post. (Although I wouldn't unless you were caught up or spoilers galore.)

Luckily, this current break is not too long as it returns in November.
