I just clicked through on the e-mail from ST.com.  There's a lot of reasons for me to go on July 23...and a lot of reasons for me to sit it out.

At least they're showing two good episodes from S1 and not taking the easy way out with Encounter at Farpoint.

Scott, Thanks for posting this. I just checked and it will be available at my local theater, so I'm absolutely going. Two great TNG episodes on the big screen.....AWESOME!!!

Too bad they can't skip ahead and remaster "All Good Things" or "Best of Both Worlds" for this. That would really whet appetites for the future seasons. The Fathom TOS screening a few years back could have been better, as my theater used the projector they run ads with.
