Blade Runner 30th Anniversary Edition (2012) - any changes from the earlier 5-disc set? (1 Viewer)

Seems like every BluRay site except this one is talking about the re-release of the Blade Runner 5-disc set. Some questions that everyone wants to know:
Are the discs BD50s this time instead of BD25s?
Is Dangerous Days in high-definition this time?
Amazon mentions a new photo gallery. Any other differences?
And very unlikely but I still need to ask: Is the green hue of the Final Cut corrected back to amber?

Bill Hunt was saying on his site, that the doc Dangerous Days will still be in SD!
That could make it a deal breaker for me.
Image galleries are not enough to make me double dip on the set that is otherwise the same thing i have. Unless anyone else knows of another upgrade from the 5 disc (beside a toy that i have ZERO need for)...PASS!
Now if Warner wants to make it all HD, then i am in!

I agree, of course.
I'd seriously consider buying this set again IF the Dangerous Days content is in high-def.
I might consider buying this set again if the movies have been given a higher bitrate via the use of BD50s, but, that's not as important as finally getting the Dangerous Days documentary in 1080p!

Its likely they're just recycling all the original movie discs and combining discs 2 and 4 onto one blu-ray. Personally I'd hope Warner would remaster the soundtracks of all versions into DTS-HD to get rid of all the lossy renderings on the existing set but I doubt that will happen.

In regards to the blue-green tinge to The Final Cut I'll just quote Charlie from Blade Zone back in 2007...

"1) You basically assume that previous transfers were personally supervised by Ridley Scott (they were not) and 2) that the colorspace you're seeing in various frame grabs and seen on a computer monitor match what would you see in a properly calibrated theater (home or theatrical.) They do not.
The Final Cut represents the very first time you're seeing the film the way the director intended. Like it or not, it's what he (not the "restorers" or anyone else) wanted, nor was it somehow updated to look fashionable. It's simply the way the filmmaker wants his film to look. That's why we left the other versions alone despite the new HD transfers, even if they don't represent Ridley's intended grading for the film, so that they would be historically preserved as they were."

Its green because Scott wants it to be green. End of story.

I'd love to hear CdL's thoughts on this set, but I appreciate that that could be a politically dicey thing for him to weigh in on.
As it stands, no sale until I hear the extras are in HD.

I wasn't really expecting CL to appear here. It's been a few years since these Talk to the Insiders areas had insiders. Plus, he might be fantastically busy putting together a new cut of Prometheus to answer the critics, or getting special features for it into shape.

Or Charles could be putting together his... .what was it?.... HIS OWN MOVIE!
Tis a big accomplishment for the man who's responsible for so many great and wonderful bonus features to a lot of movies. Now he's got his own movie with his own script and it looks pretty interesting. I wonder if he'll have any bonus features on it. That would be interesting.
