Hey everyone,
new to all this home theatre, basically i want a nice amp and speakers to replace my logitech z5500's
i run all my media through my PC,
i have a 32 inch Sony Bravia LED/LCD
PS3
Iphone
Computer
i have a small one bed studio apartment with cement walls if that helps with speakers.
i hope someone can make some sense out of this for me.
oh i am in brissy australia.

with a one bedroom apartment you don't need much. If your walls are shared with neighbors you won't be able to blast the system anyway. I would say get a 300 to 500 watt 5.1 channel setup and you should be fine. Depending on how you connect pc audio to receiver you will want to get a receiver with appropriate connections. also as a neighbor pleaser a good set of over the ear headphones wouldn't hurt. I use Koss headphones from wal-mart that cost like 20 dollars U.S. and they are great. Concrete walls might not give you real good sound either, you may want to hang blankets or curtains in front of them. Hard surfaces are not good for acoustics. Hope this is helpful.
