The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.
I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp
. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!
Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Thanks Mike! This Means War looks like a fun comedy. I'd like to do Leathal Weapon, but I need the price to come down first.

Red Tails is a definite rental, but it looks like no purchases for me this week. I've been keeping my eye on all of the TV on DVD deals you post every week, as I look to pick up a few series to take me through the summer drought.

I'll pick up Red Tails (which was definitely and deliberately in the style of WWII propaganda movies) this week.
Thanks for the prices! :)

I think the difference is that there's no digital copy. If that's the case, they're charging as much as Target but giving you less for your money. That's why Best Buy will always be at the top.

I'll have the review for the Eclipse Series 33 box up this evening; one more film in it to go. I'm slated to do Red Tails and This Means War this week, but they haven't arrived yet.

Thanks as always for the RoundUp.

I'm certainly glad I have a region free blu-ray/dvd player. All of the interesting titles are now being released in Europe. In America, most of the titles that the studios now see as profitable are the latest round of box office duds and straight-to-video garbage.

I am with Adam on Lethal Weapon - waiting for the price drop.
...

Ditto. You just know this will show up on Amazon before the end of the year as a Blu-Ray Deal of the Week or Gold Box Deal for around $30.

Just Sherlock S2 (Blu) for me this week, although I may end up grabbing some of those early Family Guy boxes at Best Buy for $12.99.

Thanks, Mike!

I already have the gorgeous Certified Copy from Artificial Eye. Will probably double-dip on the Criterion for the supplements, however, when I can get half-off from Amazon or B&N.

I'm thinking I might try The River: Season 1 with that meaty $10 coupon I've printed up.

It would be a blind buy.

I remember thinking the teaser commercials made it look like fun.

The review for Eclipse Series 33: Up All Night with Robert Downey Sr. can be found here.

And the link has been added to the OP. Thanks, Matt.

Thanks. I was confused looking at the BB ad and the hype (2 per store, in store only). Target is the better deal here. Its funny how they don't make a big deal out of it or claim its exclusive.

^ I'm wondering if I'm correct now. I based that thought on Target's ad saying that the Blu-ray had a Digital Copy included (it only shows the cover of the DVD) and BB's ad having a picture of the Blu-ray where you can see that the "Blu-ray + DVD" banner at the top and no mention of a digital copy. I looked up Red Tails on Target and Best Buy's sites and there's no listing for an exclusive version either so I don't know what to think.
Long story short, it seems like you'll have to stop by Best Buy to investigate if you want to be sure.

The commercials sucked me in, but I was very disappointed in the end. I'd advise a cheap rental over a blind buy.
