Big fan of this movie, mostly because it scared the shit out of me when I first saw it, and still makes me somewhat anxious when I view it. No words on whether the extras from the previous DVD will be ported over, or whether they'll be any new ones. Still got the old DVD.

What were the extras? Commentary?
I always thought Hershey should have been a BIG star.
Btw, if that's the official cover art, we've got a contender for worst cover art.

It's what they're running on Amazon, and I don't mind it, actually.

Martin Scorsese chose The Entity as one of the best horror films ever made. I'm just saying...
Here's his list and it not only made his top 10 (really in Spinal Tap fashion his list goes to 11) but his top 5!
1. The Haunting (Robert Wise, 1963)
2. Isle of the Dead (Mark Robson, 1945)
3. The Uninvited (Lewis Allen, 1944)
4. The Entity (Sidney J. Furie, 1981)
5. Dead of Night (Alberto Cavalcanti, 1945)
6. The Changeling (Peter Medak, 1980)
7. The Shining (Stanley Kubrick, 1980)
8. The Exorcist (William Friedkin, 1973)
9. Night of the Demon (Jacques Tourneur, 1957)
10. The Innocents (Jack Clayton, 1961)
11. Psycho (Alfred Hitchcock, 1960)

I notice on Amazon that Is not selling this disc themselves because it is "under review". I wonder what the problem is?

An Amazon reviewer writes there are no extras, not even a menu.

The blu-ray did not get the extras ported over from the 2005 DVD, but the standard DVD did. It could be under review because stated on the back of the DVD is the incorrect info of it being in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio. Only thing I can think of.
