I am very curious to hear from anyone who saw the restored version of CABARET this week at the TCM festival. This is a film that had a very unique look in its original Technicolor dye transfer prints and has been served very poorly on home video. I also hope that the new restoration is not something where they have "updated" or "improved" the way the film is meant to look. So far I have only seen the most generic articles about the restoration. Has anyone heard anything.... Robert Harris would of course be the ideal person to comment on this. (If this is not posted in the correct forum, please feel free to move it to the correct one. Thanks.)
