I don´t know this Burt Reynolds series but I´m very interested to see the 26?? episodes? I presume that CBS/Paramount has the rights. I´m wondering why it hasn´t been released yet because Reynolds is a famous name and it´s a Quinn Martin series. By the way, is there a website where I can see an episode?

I used to watch it back in the '70s on German TV where for some reason they called it Dan Oakland, I wonder too why a show with such a huge star has never appeared on DVD yet. Maybe it will now, if they're starting up their own archive sales program as it's been mentioned around here might happen.

Would like to see the series Dan August released on DVD, along with the pilot movie House on Greenapple Road (which starred Christopher George in the role of Dan August). Read about the pilot movie and subsequent TV series in the Quinn Martin book (interesting read).

Stop the Replacing of original Studio Opening / Closing logos! They are part of film history.

Me too, maybe we'll see it as a MOD release one day.

Maybe there is hope for other shows like Matt Helm, Petrocelli or O'Hara Treasury Agent. The concepts of the past are still relevant today, except there is more stress on technology. Don't get me wrong technology is important, but it should never take away the people's ability to think or interact with people!!
