My favorite non-musical Doris Day movie (and even then she manages to sing three songs in the picture).

My favorite non-musical Doris Day movie (and even then she manages to sing three songs in the picture).

I'm convinced it was a requirement that Doris had to sing and cry in every one of her pictures! I've always loved the expressions on the guests faces at the Embassy when she starts singing in The Man Who Knew Too Much. Alfred Hitchcock was a wicked little man.

Love this film, especially Thelma Ritter's character. I hope the Blu-Ray is a winner.

Enough is enough, Disney. No more evasions or excuses. We DEMAND the release Song of the South on Blu-ray along with the uncut version of Bedknobs and Broomsticks on Blu-ray. I am going to boycott The Walt Disney Company until then. And while you're at it, PLEASE stop dropping DVD/laserdisc extras from Blu-ray releases of other films.

This is one that has never looked particularly good on DVD. Hopefully it will finally get a proper restoration on Blu-ray. $40 is a little pricey, though.
