I have a Samsung DLP TV that is approximately 7 years old. The lamp needed replaced, so I ordered a replacement from a lamp reseller online. Installed the new lamp per the instructions. The tv worked great for a few hours, but then we noticed that certain parts/colors of the picture pulsed from dark to light and vice versa. Any ideas on why this is happening and how I can correct it?

try removing it and then reseating it. If that doesnt fix it, you have a bad bulb.
