As always: DO NOT BUY AN INDIVIDUAL GAME UNLESS IT IS PART OF A Daily OR Flash DEAL.
Buy the games in the bundles with confidence tho, but remember if you have games in the bundle you DO NOT get codes to share with friends. Exception: Valve Bundle.
If you have been thinking about getting Skyrim this Bundle may be the ticket:

So far I've added about 20 games and spent just over $100. My highlights:
Call of Duty MW 3 and both DLC packs
Max Payne 3
Crysis 2 Max Edition
Alan Wake Bundle
Assassins Creed Revelations
The Darkness 2
Walking dead all 5 episodes pack
and a bunch of other cheap indy games. My strategy of only buying a game or two a year at full price and waiting for the sales really pays off. For the price of two new releases and a little patience my money goes 8x as far.
If only Amalur was on sale I'd pretty much have every game on Steam that I care to own. Now I just need to find the time to play!

the chart is saying that there are more PC releases coming than any other platform, including PS4, and Xbox 360/1.

Steam is mostly pc tho there are a few cross platform games (all from Valve) on PS3. If you tie your Steam account to your PS3 account if you buy on one platform you can play on the other.

I don't think that a bunch of games coming out for PC means that PC is doing better than consoles. Let's see sales figures once those games are out. That said, PC is doing just fine, as are consoles.I looked at the Steam sale list and a lot of games caught my eye. There does, however, seem to be a big sense of "will I even play these games?" among the sites I read and the people who are looking at the sales. Maybe this is the year where people realize they've spent too much on too many games?

I never said it was doing better than the consoles, just that those who have been calling the PC doomed as a console clearly aren't paying attention. It's doing just fine. And Valve have the gamification of building backlogs down to a science, I think very very few PC gamers walk away regularly from these twice a year sales empty handed and a good percentage buy more than they intended.

Yesterday I bought Bioshock Infitite for 30 bucks. I am so ready for this weekend it isn't even funny! I bought Bioshock 1 &2 a few weeks ago for 5 bucks together. I also found some Sims add ons for $9 on Origins...I just wish I had more time to burn on games right now.

I got in under the wire on Far Cry 3. I couldn't get through all day and remembered to try it again almost too late. Well, I have the game, but I don't think my computer could run it too well.

How much did you pay for Far Cry 3? I have been looking at that one but right now it is only 25% off.
