Adam Sandler returns to play the dual roles of Jack and Jill, fraternal twin brother and sister. Jill is Jack's sister who is from the Bronx and is visiting Jack and his family for Thanksgiving in Hollywood. Jack runs an advertising outfit facing difficult times unless he can land Al Pacino for a coffee commercial campaign. After some really uncomfortable attempts at humor with Jill attending the family Thanksgiving dinner, Jack tries to make up with Jill and takes her to a Lakers game, while also trying to get some time with Pacino. Only in a Sandler movie, is Pacino quite taken with Jill, and the film spends the rest of the time on the rather unsightly subplot of Pacino pursuing Jill. I give it 1.75 stars, or a grade of C-.
