http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GObQ_VCGu6w Oh, yeah. This looks f'in right. Liam McIntyre has Andy's look, and I'm confident he'll bring the rest.

I'm there.  The first season was one of the biggest suprises in terms of quality and enjoyment I have ever had in a TV show.

Very sad news.
I have seen Larry David in action, and that man is an animal, and he has to be stopped.

Spartacus: Vengeance to premiere on January 27. Poster: http://static.hometh...um.com/imgrepo/ I still say he looks a heck of a lot like Ange.

Finally, it's back....I've been waiting for this show for quite awhile. In the trailer, they show Gannicus in there. He has a large sized role in the real story so I'm happy they brought him back. Also, the shots of doctore (Oenomaus) being whipped looked like he was being whipped by Ashur?? So many questions from the teaser, I love it.....Can't wait for tonights show.

When setting up my DVR to record this series, I saw an On Demand special called "The Women of Spartacus." Imagine my disappointment when it was rated TV-14. :D

For those confused, it premieres on TV on Friday. I'll wait until then.

I didn't realize that it wasn't "officially" out until next Friday until this weekend. Sorry for the confusion....DirecTV has a channel (500), I think, that was showing it early. It was still a good episode though. I liked the dedication to Andy at the end, it was very nice of them.

Great start to the season.   I loved the season preview afterwards also.   Looks like a good romp ahead!

Great episode and a truly heartbreaking scene with Aurelia at the end. I will miss her character. I think Liam shows really good emotional range and will be a fitting replacement for Andy (May he rest in peace).

Pretty much what I expected. I wish they would write some Roman women (not slaves) who are not complete harpies.

I did think Liam did a fine job in his first episode.

Pretty solid start with some great scenes. LOL at the guys trying rob Doctore, I guess they didn't realize he is the guy who trains the gladiators how to fight. It's gonna take a few episodes for me to get used to the new lead but I thought he did a good job. Crixus was right about not killing Glabor, they are just barely on the radar now but killing Glabor would move the close to enemy #1 and the Romans would send thousands.

Good start, but as usual, I have a lot of trouble understanding half the dialogue. I don't know if it's the sentence structure or the delivery, but I usually either have to rewind a little or just piece things together from the context. When Spartacus was talking to Aurelia under the moon, I first thought she was talking to that Roman pipsqueak's sister. "No wonder she's so amused by the death of her brother's men." Her promise request at the end brought her back around to her original opinion of Sparty.

Is there a more detestable character on TV then Asher?    Such a set of brutal scenes on the whipping post.. and such a great last half of this week's episode..
