I thought the opener was OK. Since they unfortunately went down a more dramatic path last year, they do need to tie those things up. The characters have grown over the years and you can play more serious stories with them but Vince's drug addiction was too dramatic for the show. I hope the drama quickly takes a back seat this year and they get closer to the original idea of best friends having fun in Hollywood and set up happy endings for the guys as the series concludes.

Really? I usually like Drama but he was incredibly annoying in this episode. I really hope this is the worst we'll see this season. I can't think of one positive thing to say about the episode.

I actually thought this episode was quite good and hope they remain at this level or better. Poor Ari.

Johnny Drama/Kevin Dillon can do no wrong in my book so I thought his overzealous protection of Vince was funny. Trying to be objective though, it was the same basic joke over and over.

0-2. I'm hoping it's a slow start, but it sucks to have wasted two episodes like that. Do they even think they need to write a joke once in a while?

^ Do you think that was intentionally funny though? Funny is in the eye of the beholder (and Kim Coates is awesome) but that scene was supposed to be a big dramatic moment. I want to love Entourage (especially since it's at the end of its run) but I don't understand why they keep making their comedy series a drama. Suicide, drug addiction, divorce? I laugh much more at Breaking Bad which is about a drama about two guys who manufacture meth for a blood thirsty cartel and are contsantly on the verge of being murdered than I do at Entourage which was a comedy a couple seasons back.

I completely agree with this. Through that whole scene where he was in the bathroom I knew he was gonna blow his head off but kept telling myself I hope they don't go there. It reminds me a little of when 'Friends' stopped being a comedy and became a soap opera.

I do have a soul, maybe that's the problem.

What, exactly, is funny about a recovering drug addict, who is expreriencing a relapse, committing suicide?

I can watch, and enjoy celebrity rehab, but I don't find any humor in the way "Entourage" is dealing with drug addiction and suicide.

This has been really bad, the creators should be glad they put out this junk now when it has a following because if this was a newer show, it wouldn't get picked up. Turtle wanting to sell his stock in an up and coming Tequila company is just so stupid, and him wanting to sell now so he can bring east coast clams to southern california should get him a punch in the face. Just moronic. It's even worse than Dice wanting to holdout before his show even airs. So, we meet a character and in 20 minutes he commits suicide, and we are supposed to care why?

The part with Turtle is incredibly stupid. He owns if I remember right 5% of a company that Mark Cuban is now taking public.. and he wants to opt out before that happens at the 'earliest' in order to do a restaurant or something?

This entire thing is RIDICULOUS. It's obvious they couldn't sign the girl who was his girlfriend, but this is just a really dumb storyline.

Not quite as dumb as Lloyd all of the sudden being head of TV at Ari's agency, which is insanity.

The entire season frankly has sucked.

The show has become very boring. Outside of the plot not working, where did all the girls go? It's like a weekly sausage party. Turtle may be the dumbest character written. I don't care how stupid he is, who bails on an IPO with Mark Cuban?

Maybe this show is as superficial as some people in the industry? I agree that this season, while an improvement, still doesn't hit the highs of the first two seasons. Still, how can a show be about the uninteresting people that follow a supposedly-interesting celeb? It's a frat-pack show, that obviously has paper-thin writing. All my friends who like this show really never take it at face-value. They watch it, wish they had Vinnie's life, and then move on. It's porn, basically, that blew its load a long time ago.

So you are basically saying Entourage has jumped the C*ck?

Episode 7 (which airs next week) is up on On Demand and I assume HBO Go already. I haven't had a chance to watch last night or next week's episodes but it's cool that HBO put the upcoming ep already.

Thank goodness there are only a few episodes left of this awful show. The writers...*facepalm*
