Thought I'd start a thread for the UK DVD distributor Exposure Cinema after reading about some of their UK DVD releases in the PAL and other Region announcements thread in this folder. Below is the link to their website:

Their release of While the City Sleeps (1956) was very good. Coming up next month is a DVD release of Beyond a Reasonable Doubt (1956), released on 18th July. And coming soon is the film Secret Beyond the Door (1947).

If I understand their web-site correctly, they have only five DVDs in total including their announced future titles. Not yet a major player!

Regardless of whether or not they're not a 'major player', it dosen't mean that some or all of those five titles aren't worthwhile.

Of course it doesn't, but it does raise the question of whether we can sustain an entire thread about this one distributor.

I think it can sustain an 'entire thread' about this 'one distributor'. Just because one distributor hasn't released as many titles as a distributor which has released several titles, it dosen't mean there can't be discussion about those films. I would rather discuss a DVD distributor in a separate thread than in a combined thread. The HTF forum probably has a US focus mainly, but it dosen't mean there can't be separate threads for UK DVD distributors.

This forum already has one thread about Spanish DVDs of 20th Century Fox movies and another thread about PAL releases in general. If you prefer to post in this thread about Exposure's output, please proceed. I look forward to your presumably frequent posts.

News posted on Exposure Cinema's website (it also states a new website is coming soon):

Due to a recent fire at Sony’s UK warehouse, some of Exposure Cinema’s films will be temporarily unavailable at retailers. Customers who wish to purchase Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, While the City Sleeps or Left Bank are urged to place pre-orders so that the title can be despatched as soon as it becomes available. Exposure Cinema's revamped website has rear boxart for this title (and the other titles they've released to date).

Have a question regarding Snowbeast (1977) - does the fall from the ski lift scene appear on Exposure Cinema's release?
