I thought I had made up my mind on the TV for my rec-room but I just don't know. My basement is very low light and we game with my 360 and PS3, watch dvds and soon to be BR and we have ATT U-VERSE HD. I was up at BestBuy today on my lunch hour and the LED TVs look great. I thought I had made up my mind on getting a Panny plasma 1080p non-3D but I just don't know...any advice would be great.

Any plasma set is fine for gaming as long as you're aware of the burn-in hazard. More recent models have overcome that issue for the most part; older plasmas are a problem with images that don't change on-screen for long periods of time.

Plasmas will look great, with a reasonable light output. They are very good for controlled light conditions.

LCD will look great, with a large amount of lightput. They are good for rooms with a large amount of ambient light.

Plasmas have excellent viewing angles. LCD panels do not.
