I remember when the creators came on the scene they talked a lot of trash about "Hollywood Sell-outs" and how they would only do the show for so long since they would not sell out. I guess becoming a "sell-out" is better than fading away into oblivion.

I hate the term "selling out" but, to me, "selling out" would be if they played it safe or phoned their work in so they can grab their check. If the show still works and they've still got something to say about society, why quit?

No doubt the show fails from time to time but I think that has more to with working too close to their deadline. If they did an episode two or three weeks before it aired rather than a week*, I imagine that a number of episodes would be better if they had more time to fix problems or punch up jokes.

* Yes, I realize that some of the ripped from the headlines gags or stories might be lost but I think it would usually be worth the trade.

Wow, this opening episode was ridiculously ridiculous, for all the right reasons.  Heh.  Loved the absurdity and the cross-pollination between Apple and HumanCentiPad.

Yeah, I think we can safely rule out the idea that they've sold out. :)

I read that Tyler Perry recorded his own voice for this episode.

Randy being stupid, Cartman looking like a jackass and especially the social commentary made that episode a classic.

Which is not to say that I'm *angry* about it! Posted Image

Yeah, me either.  I'm not angry at all.  In fact, I'm the opposite of angry.  Posted Image

I thought the episode had some great moments - like Mr. Marsh learning that FedEx is a private company, the parade of angry guys in their "compensation vehicles" (SUV, Hummer and sports car) and - of course - "Is the team standing by to f*ck that little boy Kyle?" Posted Image

Ha! I'm now above normal length! What do you think of that, Lynda? You said I was hung like a two year old but I'm above average so maybe the problem wasn't with me, maybe it was your cavernous vagina? ALL SHALL BOW DOWN TO MY MIGHTY PENIS!!!

I hope nobody reads Chad's post before seeing the episode. . .

Anything on the last two episodes? I just watched the parody of the royal wedding and except for the very last scene it was not very funny.

Episodes featuring Canadians are always very love it or hate it. I do love the Canadian cars with their square wheels though. Last week's episode was hilarious in my opinion. It's probably just me but I'm still laughing about how Cartman says how he hates the "skewwwlll" (school) when he's mad and shaking the lunch table at the beginning of the episode.

I'm always game for a Canada themed episode.

When an episode is weak, regardless of the reason, I blame Canada.

"You have a condition called Being A Cynical Asshole" is one of my all time favorite lines from South Park. Every time I see some one on the internet say "All movies are bad today", I will think of that line and laugh.
