I just purchased an Onkyo TX-NR708 receiver.  My cable box and Sony blu ray player both output HDMI.  My Sharp LCD TV has HDMI input.  I intend to run HDMI from the blu ray player to the Onkyo and HDMI from the cable box to the Onkyo.  Then run HDMI from the Onkyo to the TV.  My TV has Digital Audio Output.  Do I need to feed from that back to my receiver if I am running HDMI?

The digital out on your TV is used for the internal tuner. If you have an antenna or cable hooked up directly to the TV, then you could get digital audio out to the receiver. In your case, you already have everything hooked up correctly. The only other option would be to run a separate audio cable from your cable box to your TV if you ever plan to watch it without the receiver.
