DREAD CENTRAL: If there's any justice in this universe, Drive Angry will find its audience when it comes home to Blu-ray and DVD in May. Read on for the details.

Summit Entertainment has announced DVD ($26.99), 2D Blu-ray ($30.49), and 3D Blu-ray ($34.99) releases of Drive Angry for May 31st, 2011. Extras on the DVD will include an audio commentary with filmmakers Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer, deleted scenes with filmmaker commentary, and two featurettes ("How To: Drive Angry", "Milton's Mayhem").

The Blu-ray releases will include the audio commentary and deleted scenes plus dynamic "scene specific" features including interviews with cast and filmmakers and more. We've attached a trade advertisement with some early package artwork below courtesy of DVD Active.

I'm surprised they're using the "$12 million in domestic box office," to promote this release. To me that's a strike against it, not a selling point.
