I don't think you will see any lower prices anytime in the future unless Android really starts making a move.

For me to upgrade I need: 128GB or 64GB w/SD supporting 64GB or larger

It would be nice to have a higher res display.

Out of those the only thing I would really like to see is a better display. Not just a high resolution retina display, but one with better contrast and significantly better performance under direct sunlight. Also, if it does get a retina display we will need another leap forward in CPU/GPU performance to support those extra pixels.

As far as I'm concerned, it's a damned shame that a field as potentially dynamic and vital as journalism should be overrun with dullards, bums, and hacks, hag-ridden with myopia, apathy, and complacence, and generally stuck in a bog of stagnant mediocrity. - Hunter S. Thompson, 1958, from cover letter he wrote for a newspaper job.

I'd like Steve Jobs to personally come to my house and configure my iPad 3, as well, but I'll be a bit realistic.

The iPad 2 isn't even out yet. I think it's too early to talk about #3. I think an iOS5 speculation thread would be more interesting and relevant at the moment :)

As @Gartenberg noted:

the day after iPad 1 shipped Apple sent out invites to iOS 4 preview. #justsayin

Personally I want the option of a smaller form factor, more storage, retina display. and heck, why not, more power!!!
