The original amp on my circa 1993 Klipsch SW-12 died about two years ago. I finally found time to replace it with a BASH 300. The old amp specifications call out a +6dB boost at 30Hz. Here are my questions. Is there any significant difference between the old analog and the new digital amp that would make me change my mind from modifying the BASH 300 for +5db of boost at 25-30 Hz. That should be OK, right?

What is the in-room response without the boost?  All you need is a Radio Shack analog SPL meter and MS Excel - http://www.pvconsult...udio/eq/peq.htm
