There has been many of Stephen Cannell series released as completed series. I am surprised that Silk Stalkings has not released. I was a fan of this show, especially Janet Gunn's character in the late 1990s. I bought Prime Crime set, which had one episode of silk stalkings. I would love the buy the completed series on dvd.

I welcome people thoughts.

I'm confused.....

Silk Stalkings IS out on DVD, I checked it out from my local library a few months ago......

Yes and no. Silk Stalkings is out of dvd, but, S1-S5 have been release. However S6-S8 have not yet been released. The show has been turned over to Millcreek and i would suspect at some point the completed show is released on dvd, especially after 21 Jump Street, Commish, etc have been completely released.

The issue could be that this is 8 season and they may look at doing 1-4 and the 5-8 as part of the packaging.

I hope they do something like that. I already have season 1-4. When I went to buy season 5, they are charging outrageous prices from Amazon retailers. So if they had season 5 to 8 as a seperate offering, I'd snap it up.

yes, i hear you. I was looking at silk stalkings and did not like the pricing, so i passed. I like to have the complete season. I especially like Janet Gunn's character later on. I was living in the states back in 1990s and this show used come on sunday night along with pacific blue on USA network. It has been years since i have seen an episode apart from the Prime Time Crime set i bought last year.

I am a big fan of Stephen Cannell's work as he was a great writer. I was very sadden when he passed on.

There was a rumor going around a year or so ago about the complete series for Silk Stalking was going to be released. I am curious to know what is happening with the show. I remember watching the show in the 1990s after pacific blue on USA TV network. I had a bit of crush on Janet Gunn's character!!

Someone asked Mill Creek on their facebook and they said

"Silk Stalkings" production is still in the works. I will let you know when more details have been released..hopefully soon !

I am looking to buy 1-5 seasons down the road. I do have 6-8 as that is when I first got into Silk Stalkings as I had a crush on Janet Gunn. I am not a huge blonde fan, but some blondes do spike my interest like Janet Gunn or Morgan Fairchild or Brooke Thesis.
