My family and I really enjoyed this in the theater, so I (we) can't wait for this release.  We only saw it in 2D, but plan on getting the 3D version on Blu-ray.  Here is the trailer:

Pretty poor selection of extras.  Not even a commentary?

Indeed, even the making of is only 12 minutes long, according to the BBFC. This movie was a success, right? There's absolutely no need to treat it this poorly.

Never go out with anyone who thinks Fellini is a type of cheese

I'm not sure what the definition of success is anymore in Hollywood.  According to Box Office Mojo It grossed $186 million in the US, $231 million overseas and had a production budget of approx $260 million (estimated $160m to make, $100m to market)

It's a good thing they had the horse in this film, because he is the only thing that saved it from being abysmal. I can see why there wasn't much effort put into this package. Even Disney's marketing people must have thought this dog was not worth expending any effort on.
"You bring a horse for me?" "Looks like......looks like we're shy of one horse." "No.......You brought two too many."
