If they can completely retcon "Reloaded" and "Revolutions" I'm there. The ending "peace" of leaving the majority of people enslaved while only those who decided to go free could be free still chaps my hide. It made the whole "we are batteries!" shocker in the first movie "eh"

Meh, Reloaded and Revolutions should have been one movie. I hope 4 and 5 are better paced and written.

Reading that rumour, I', more interested in "Bill & Ted 3" :P

I'll watch any Matrix film they put out, but I wont lose sleep if it doesn't happen. 2&3 had their moments, but the ending of the trilogy didn't work for me.

Matrix 4 and 5? This is proof that there is no just and loving god in the universe.

On the other hand, if the W Brothers were to announce that they were working on Speed Racer 2, I would by my ticket this very instant!

And you wouldn't even have to wait in line, you'd probably be all alone ;)

I agree Matrix 2 and 3 could, and should, have been one movie, but, I still think 1 gets way too much credit for originality in a year that also gave us 13th floor and Existenz, while 2, with the spooky twins, the Merovignian, and Monica Belluci, gets way not enough...

No need for 4 and 5 though...

Apparently this "El Nino" is talking out his ass.

According to:

http://www.dailyblam.com/news/2011/01/23/keanu-reeves-talks-bill-and-ted-3-matrix-sequels-and-more

UPDATE: I received an email this morning from Melissa Coles, the Senior Administrator of the London International School of Performing Arts, denying the validity of this claim:
I can confirm that Keanu Reeves has NOT visited the London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA) and as far as I am aware, we are not expecting him. We will have to assume that it is nothing more than an internet rumour I'm afraid.

Looks like AICN needs to start checking their sources. Sorry about that people. Move along. Nothing to see here...

The Matrix Reloaded is still one of my favorite watches. The first film is one of the defining works of the 2000's, even as it came out in 1999.
That said, the series had a definitive ending. It is no news anyway, since it is fake.
And agreed regarding Speed Racer 2. But that movie made Jack #%^t, sadly.

The best part: There is no spoon...err, school.

“It’s all bunk,” Warner Bros. spokeswoman Jessica Zacholl told Wired.com by phone, pointing out that a school by that name doesn’t even exist. The studio rep added that the actor made no appearances of any kind in which he discussed Wachowski projects with film students.

So that's a relief. Bill & Ted is a great movie; #2 not so much. We didn't need to see middle-aged Bill and Ted reuniting for a romp with CG-reanimated Rufus.

And Matrix 4 & 5? That would require first a Matrix 2 & 3, which most definitely don't exist. (I had this nightmare once of being trapped in a theater with an unending car-chase scene involving badly animated CG-Neo fighting CG-Smith, but that was just a bad dream.)

That spokeswoman should do better research before declaring a school non-existent. 30 seconds with Google and I found the homepage for LISPA.

Ah, but the original report declared it the London School of Performing Arts University. LISPA exists, and they deny the report. LSPAU apparently does not exist, as the studio rep said. "London School of Performing Arts University" sounds pretty hokey, or jokey, like Extreme Dodgeball's "First National Memorial Field Colosseum at the Veterans Dome Stadium Complex."

Oh...Oh....Reading comprehension fail on my part. I should have read the original article again. I retract my previous comment.

With Agent Smith and Morpheus doing tv commericals these days, I was wondering if somebody was testing the waters a bit.
