I don't have a receiver yet and I don't think I can fork over ~$2K on a new 5.1 or 7.1 amp and surround system right now so I went out and scoured a few pawn shops today. I picked up a Optimus/Radio Shack 10" SWS-501 subwoofer for $50. It seems to work fine. I also found a pair of Polk Audio SDA-2 speakers. I was already late for another appointment ( bought a car too <-: ) so I did not even ask the price on them. Anyone have an idea what might be a reasonable price to offer for these or should I just pass on something from this era, for sale in a pawn shop? Don't be shy! All input invited.
