The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Thanks Mike! Kind of a quiet week which it good for the wallet. I'm going to pick up Death Race 2. I got to preview it a few months ago and will be publishing some interviews I did with Danny Trejo, Luke Goss and Tanit Phoenix tomorrow or Monday. Its pretty good for a direct to video flick and sets up the original film nicely.

Nada. I have Buried in the Netflix queue, but I can't even get excited over the catalogue titles Best Buy has on sale this week. I thought this was supposed to be the dog days of summer, not winter. Thanks as always Mike.

The hidden treasure in this week's list is the Australian crime film, Animal Kingdom, which is one of the great films released here in 2010. It's being released through Sony, but I don't know whether Rich Gallagher received a review copy.

I just discovered--via an unplanned trip to Target--that , starting today, Target has Dances With Wolves on blu for $14.99 (for the next several weeks according to the shelf tag).

It worked out for me that Wal-Mart refused my $5 online coupon last week as I was able to pick that title up today for $9.99.

Yup. I don't see those titles/prices going away any time soon. But my store is out of them now, too. They didn't seem to get too many.
