Just read over on TVShowsOnDVD.com that Time Life is selling Season 1 with the pilot movies now.  Everybody that wanted this but couldn't justify/afford the entire series can get their first bionic fix.

Just looked over that listing.

These are the first six discs of the set, contained within the interior packaging made for the full series set.  Unless I'm mistaken, the content is identical to what I reviewed here.

That first pilot film is a revelation, by the way.

The S1 set being offered by TL is identical to the one in the Complete Collection. Universal is allowing TL to sell the individual S1 as a "starter" set. Next fall, Uni will be releasing the individual seasons on their own label, after TL's exclusive window has expired. By that time, Uni will most likely have released the S2 and S3 sets of The Bionic Woman, in addition to a separate release of the three "reunion" movies (already included in TL's SMDM set). What will probably remain exclusive to the TL set (and become rare after it is sold out) are the three pilot movies in their two-part syndication versions and all the content on Discs 4 & 5 of the Bonus Collection.

I've noticed that the soon to be rare SMDM 5-disc "Bonus Set" has been popping up on eBay a few times. I have the box and can tell you it is amazing! Especially the bonus features.

I've noticed those, too. I'd guess it's people who have no interest in the interviews or watched them once, with no plans to ever watch them again. There are also a few people who bought the complete set just to get a particular season(s), then sell off the others.
