Amazon has dropped the bomb! Huge markdowns on a ton of Blus. Not sure how Black Friday can get any better, most likely THIS IS the Black Friday prices....

Here's the sale that'll break my bank...

Don't get too starry eyed, he puts his HDMI cables in one end at a time just like the rest of us =)


But yeah, I bought more Blus this morning than the last year combined. Still a ways to go to making them affordable but under $10 for some good disks gets a thumbs up from me.

Contemplating picking up all 3 LOTR Blu-rays for $8 each

despite the fact I prefer the longer versions coming soon.

B&N online has the better deal (after coupon) for the BTTF BD set at the moment -- and you can probably save a bit more using some sort of discount/cashback portal (like the Discover Card's).

I may spring for that deal myself although I'm wondering what Amazon's lightning deal will be for it come Monday.

Got the Matrix box for $40.99. Lowest price yet. (Ok, WalMart has it for one dollar less, and WBShop had it for $30+shipping briefly, but still, good!)


Thinking about the Bourne box (not on sale but still a good price), but I think those films are on sale often enough not to have to buy it now.

I just pulled the plug and bought 'em.


How could you pass up all three Lord of the Rings Blu-rays for
under $25? I mean....really.


If I didn't buy them I would be kicking myself. Now I don't have

to feel so inclined to rush out and buy the extended versions on

day one and can wait till Black Friday 2011 to get a great deal

on those.


On Monday I will purchase Back To The Future. I had to regrettably

cross that off my list this year because I was buying too many

other things. Right now it's about $35 but I am hoping on Monday

during the lightning round it will come down to $25. That would be

a sweet deal.

I'll console myself that the $40 I spent on the Matrix included shipping, whereas the Overstock doesn't... But still that's an amazing price. That's less than what Overstock is charging for the individual first Matrix film.

For anyone still near City Hall area in downtown Manhattan, J&R apparently started their own in-store BF sale a little early -- and they actually beat some of these online prices.

I was actually tempted to pick up Death at the Funeral on BD for ~$13 while there -- might've done so if it was a combo pack w/ DVD.
