The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the
RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the
RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

A note about Best Buy prices When available, I include Best Buy prices on new releases from their Sunday flyer.  The rest are taken from bestbuy.com.  Often, there will be discrepancies between the flyer and on-line prices.  If you plan on buying a high-profile new release title from Best Buy, I advise you to check both prices and act accordingly.  You can possibly take advantage of their on-line ordering with in-store pick-up, or get them to match their own on-line price, etc.  The price differences can often be substantial.

If I don't win one of the copies in the HTF Contest for Scott Pilgrim, that's a definite buy. Otherwise, I'm exercising rigid self-control and getting nothing else this week.

Thanks as usual, Mike!  For a moment there, I thought the Avatar SE BD set was coming this week, but nope, that'd be the next coming week...

If I don't win the contest, I'm hoping to score this at a decent price from the Fulton St vendor (near my workplace) w/in the week myself. Posted Image

Otherwise, probably nothing else (that I haven't already ordered this past week or just a couple hours ago Posted Image -- or much earlier from those yet-to-be-fulfilled, dastardly DeepDiscount BOGO sales Posted Image)...

Stellar work as ever, Mike.  Scott Pilgrim will be mine, looks like Amazon may be the way to go, taking taxes into consideration.  Have a great week, everyone.  Hug a vet.

I'll be picking up Mystery Science Theater 3000 this week and the Scott Pilgrim DVD as a Christmas gift. I'll wait until Scott Pilgrim Blu-ray drops in price to pick it up for myself.

Thanks for the prices! Posted Image

After getting the Blu-ray treatment for season one, I, too, was VERY disappointed that Fox chose to release Lie to Me only in SD for season two. It must have sold very poorly indeed.

but with a bonus CD to be released next week for 12.99:

Just finished the pre-order.  I kinda freaked out because I first found the version I have linked-to in the OP.  That's the version due Tuesday without the bonus CD...and it is still $26.49.  The version Marvin linked-to is the same thing--from the same company--but is $12.99 and has a release date of NEXT Tuesday (November 16).  For THAT price, I can wait another week!  Posted Image

That bonus Christmas CD is a true "bonus" for me as I'm a HUGE fan of Christmas music.  While I already have all of Bing's Christmas recordings--including the hard-to-get stuff...I'm curious to see what the source is for the four "exclusive" tracks listed with the item.  A White Christmas duet with Ella Fitzgerald?  Awesome...as long as it's not taken from a radio broadcast or something.  But, even then, it sounds pretty cool.

Thanks, Marvin!  Posted Image

My pleasure! The only reason I found it was because you listed the DVD-only version in your round-up, so thanks for that!

Getting Scott Pilgrim blu-ray as a blind buy. I dont do this often, but it seems kind of like a movie, that if I liked Kick-Ass , I should like this. At least it seems like that from the trailers.Posted Image

Scott Pilgrim and Charlie St. Cloud are being added to the Netflix queue.  I'm probably going to pick up Superman/Shazam and Big Daddy, at the very least.  I have Ice Blues (anothe release this week) coming from Amazon since no B/M store is likely to carry it.

Sorry for being so freaking late this week...and thanks for doing what you do, Mike.  I never say that enough!

Better late than never, Jason.  Thanks for the nice words.  Posted Image

BTW, I found myself in Target yesterday and took advantage of their $14.99 price on Green Zone.  I just recently re-watched the Bourne films and this looks like something I really might enjoy.  I might tuck it under the Christmas tree (where my still wrapped Leave It To Beaver: Complete Series set will be waiting for me).  Posted Image

I also saw the Toy Story Trilogy on blu at Target for $74.99.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Mike, I admire your strength at not opening the Beaver set yet. Those transfers are so good.Posted Image
