As usual, it takes Warner Bros. to take the lead and market 3D films on Blu-ray the way it should have been done right from the start. Warner has had its ups and downs with home video releases but at least they haven't lost sight of the fact that they are in the business of selling movies, not television sets. Too bad that a lot of other studios seem to have forgotten that basic fact when it comes to 3D Blu-ray releases.

Edit: I guess I spoke too soon. SPHE is releasing "Open Season" as a non-exclusive 3D release on Nov. 16 as well.

"You bring a horse for me?" "Looks like......looks like we're shy of one horse." "No.......You brought two too many."

Yes, and Sony has already released Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, with Monster House and others in the pipe.

"My opinion is that (a) anyone who actually works in a video store and does not understand letterboxing has given up on life, and (b) any customer who prefers to have the sides of a movie hacked off should not be licensed to operate a video player."-- Roger Ebert
