I'm not sure if I should post this in the projector area or the hardware area so I'll post in both. My apologies if I'm not supposed to do this.

I just purchased a Panasonic RP56 progressive scan DVD player which is connected to an NEC VT540 (via an RGB connection). I used to have my iMAC DV+ connected to the projector.

I used to get jittery images when watching TV shows from the iMac, however, the RP56 plays them without the jitter.

However, when I watch movies, I now notice that I get increased pixelation when I see light-colored objects against a dark background. The pixelation is always around the edges of the light object.

Does this make sense?
