From the creators of Amélie (Jean-Pierre Jeunet) and The City of Lost Children (Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro) comes the black comedy Delicatessen. Upon its debut in 1991, the film became an instant cult classic and received overwhelming critical acclaim for establishing Jeunet and Caro's signature style. Variety proclaimed it "beautifully textured, cleverly scripted and eerily shot ... a zany little film," and it was nominated for a BAFTA Film Award for Best Film not in the English language along with an amazing 10 Cesar Awards, winning for Best Editing, Best First Work, Best Production Design and Best Writing. New bonus features include a new retrospective documentary with Jean-Pierre Jeunet, a making-of featurette and a 20-page collectible booklet written by Empire contributing editor Kim Newman.
