I've begun the process of taking my concert dvds and putting them on my HTPC. The problem is sometimes I run into a problem of with audio track to use. Mainly because I have the option between DTS 5.0 or AC3 5.1. Generally I always go with DTS as it's less compressed, but the problem in this case is that it lacks a dedicated LFE channel.  So I'm curious if I shouldn't just go with the DTS as the AC3 is almost double the compression on the DTS tracks. Now my receiver is set to direct the LFE from the speakers channels to the subwoofer. So would the lack of a dedicated LFE channel be detrimental in this case, even though the DTS track has less compression.
