The actress, 76, passed away after a long battle with cancer at 76 at 1AM last night.  One of the leads in "Golden Girls" "Maude" etc.

Very sad. Betty is now the last "Golden Girl".

Thanks, Rue, for sharing your talent with the world. There would have been a lot less laughs without you.

I knew she had suffered a stroke a few months ago but this is just tragic. This leaves Betty White as the last surviving Golden Girl.

How terrible in particular for Conrad Bain (her husband from "Maude") to lose two former co-stars in less than a week (after Gary Coleman's sudden death last Friday).

Enough is enough, Disney. No more evasions or excuses. We DEMAND the release Song of the South on Blu-ray along with the uncut version of Bedknobs and Broomsticks on Blu-ray. I will not support anything your company produces until then.

...And there can be only one.

Somewhere, Betty White has the power. She feels everything, knows everything, is everything.

Dammit. Lost the Golden Girls death-pool I had with a friend. I knew McClanahan was a dark horse, but there was always hope. NEVER bet against White.

That's 3 Golden Girls gone in less than 2 years. Let's hope Betty can break the streak as far as time goes. She's the oldest of the 4.

Interesting that Bea was a year older than the woman who played her mother.

Conrad Bain has lost three co-stars within a month and a half!

40% Ben Katz + 30% Bobby Hill (Texas) + 20% Monica Geller + 10% William Dent. (Wardrobe by George Costanza)

Betty may be the last Golden Girl, but the entire Mary Tyler Moore cast (minus Ted Knight) is still intact.
