Warner animation did a series of direct-to-video movies based on Scooby-Doo and Tom & Jerry so maybe if the live-action/CGI Yogi movie is a mega hit do you guys think that a new series of direct-to-video movies based on Yogi Bear will be coming our way real soon or not?

The last thing I’d want is a “new” series of Yogi product (with the presumed variable results of the made-for-video Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry product) when so many of Yogi Bear’s best moments remain unreleased as part of the Huckleberry Hound Show.

Where’s Lullabye-Bye Bear, Rah-Rah Bear, the father son picnic and all the rest?

C’mon Warner! There are the true Hanna-Barbera classics, and should be made available… even as MOD, if necessary!

Scooby Doo's Arabian Nights, with the late Greg Burson as Yogi, replayed on Boomerang the other day. Not a great show by any stretch, but it was nice to hear Don Messick - so late in his career - beautifully performing both Scooby and Boo Boo. Allan Melvin's Magilla Gorilla was excellent as well.

I'm afraid anything new would be a far cry from even this 1994 production.
