I know their is a region 2 disc. But, this is such a classic 80's show. I know the music rights are a big stumbling point. But, I have to think this show would sell well. Does anyone know anything regarding this??
Bring back John Doe! Or at least resolve the cliff-hanger with a 2hr movie or as an extra on a dvd release.

Universal is dissing TV product in general, and I expect that trend to continue well into next year

Too bad, I'd love to buy Battlestar Galactica and Sliders from them Posted Image

Jeff,
Hopefully, all the positive press tv on dvd has been getting lately on the news and in the papers will change Universal's minds.

Jeff...

Universal doesn't necessarily own their TV product any more. They sold it to Barry Diller along with USA. They're now evidently trying to buy their TV production and library back (for $18B, after selling it for $4B), but until that happens (or definitively does not happen), don't expect any action on Universal/USA TV product.
