HDMI Connection: PC to TV Via AVR (1 Viewer)

Equipment Inventory:

1. PC: HP S5360F w HDMI

2. Cable Box: Cisco RNG150 w HDMI

3. AVR: Denon 2807 w 3 HDMI(one out and two in)

4. TV: Sony KDL40XBR1 w only 1 HDMI

Here is the connection that I think will work:

1. HDMI cable from HDMI out on cable box, to HDMI in #2 on Denon AVR 2807

2. HDMI cable from HDMI In #1 on Denon AVR2807 to HDMI out on HP PC

3. HDMI Cable from Monitor Out on Denon AVR2807 to HDMI In on Sony TV

Inintially I didn't realize as many as 3 cables would be necessary; and if anyone out there has a better or simpler way to make the PC connection to Home Theater I would sure appreciate hearing from you.

Your connection list is correct, assuming that the PC outputs both audio and video over HDMI.
