One of the compositions on the Shutter Island soundtrack is "Hommage a John Cage." On a hunch, I found that the song contained backward masking (voices that were played backwards that make them sound like gibberish).

The rather disturbing voice says "You think I'm Crazy?" which seems to be appropriate for a film involving a hospital for the criminally insane.
