What’s Left is a simple thread with a simple question for everyone. If you could only choose one (or at the very most 3) titles in any given genre, what would you like to see released. This does not concern stalled shows. We are talking only about shows that haven't had any season set releases in R1 up to this point. So what's your favorites by Genre? Here are mine. Sitcom – Ozzie and Harriet, Wonder Years Family – Lassie Western – Stagecoast West, Wide Country, Rifleman Anthology – Fireside Theater Medical Drama – Dr. Kildare Drama – The Millionaire Adventure – Tarzan Sci-Fi – Six Million Dollar Man Mystery – Hec Ramsey Animated Series – Harlem Globetrotters Crime Drama – In the Heat of the Night Detective – Adventures of Ellery Queen (50’s), 77 Sunset Strip Legal Drama – The Defenders

School Drama - Mr. Novak (easy choice here for me)

Newspaper Drama - Big Town, The Roaring 20's (I know, but it fits here too)

War/Military Drama - Navy Log, 12 O'Clock High
Anybody else?

Gary "try to really narrow down your choices to one show if possible" O.

This was really tough for me in the beginning because there are surely many more than 3 shows in each category I'd be interested in getting. I just tried really hard to narrow it down to one if I could. A few times I just had to list more than one, but I tried real hard to force myself to narrow things down.

You guys have listed some great shows. Always impressed with Neil's lists, as well as Bob's. As usual, after reading other people's lists I see things that make me rethink my list. But in spite of that I'll keep mine where it is and not add to it (except maybe to add a couple more genres that Neil came up with).

Gary "there are still so many classic shows that haven't gotten a release - I'd love to sample many that folks here are listing" O.

For me it would be the first two seasons of SCTV. Shout Factory really screwed fans when they announced that they would be releasing the show in it's entirety and then decided to pull the plug when the ridiculously expensive sets they created didn't sell very well. The sad thing is they even released the awful Cinemax stuff and a very weak 'early years' compilation featuring stuff that had already been released plus a few really weak bits and pieces from season 3 when John Candy and Catherine Ohara had temporarily left the show. So no Moe Green, no John Fistinyourface fix-it show, just a lot of fun stuff that never has been, and according to Shout Factory, never will be, released on DVD. Sucks!

I wanna add a medical drama to my list

Medical Drama - CHICAGO HOPE

Best years were the Mandy Patinkin years, including near the end when both he and James Garner were featured in the series.
