I was expecting a little more from Gervais, but I guess he did fine for a typically less involved awards show.

Big surprise about The Hangover. I guess I should have given it higher marks. :)

Christina Aguilera looked amazing.

Downey Jr. gave the best speech.

I didn't know what the hell Streep was talking about for most of her speech.

Gervais was definitely more restrained than I expected, but he did have the line of the night when introducing Mel Gibson.

Totally agree with you about Robert Downey Jr....coolest guy in the room.

I think Gervais was hilarious. I never laughed this much from an award presenter.

What was with Harrison Ford? I saw the After Party and he couldn't speak. Is he sick?

Lots of surprises. Many movies won that I didn't think they deserved. UP, Avatar, Hangover. "500 Days of Summer" deserved to get best Comedy.
