What does Xt add to regular Audyssey Multi Eq?

Xt is found on more expensive receivers.  Can you explain exactly what Xt does?

Thanks in Advance

It ads two more mic setup locations, 8 instead of 6, and is suited to the Custom Installer.

Here's a link to Audyssey.

"Everyday room": Panasonic 58" Plasma, Dish HD DVR, Pioneer Elite vsx-23, BDP-23 BR, dv58avi universal dvd player, Paradigm Studio 20 V1, CC-450, Dayton HSU-10 subwoofer.

"Movie/Music room": Toshiba 65" DLP, Dish HD receiver, Marantz 7005, CC-4003, BD-7006, Polk LSI25's-LSi7's-LSiC, 2 original Dayton 10" "Mighty-Mites" subwoofers. (subject to change without notice).

Also have  MB Quart Vera VS05 +.....too much to list. Help me.

Gene

Thanks for taking the time to answer and for the link.  It's a shame that receiver companies seem to have limited XT to more expensive models than were available a couple of years ago.  Specifically, Onkyo had XT in the 805, and they seem to have de-contented their latest receivers.

Also, 9.2 seems to be the new direction.

Happy Holidays

On the other hand, things Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA have filtered down to the entry level receivers as have basic Audyssey and video up-scaling/conversion. Manufacturers probably felt they had to leave a few things for the Big Boys to justify the huge price premium. XT was one of them. I also think Onkyo realized that the 805 was an awful lot of receiver for the price and then over corrected with the 806. OOPs! Almost forgot!
