I was put off by the vocal quality in the trailer, which made the dialogue seem especially disembodied from the animation. It was like I was watching one thing and hearing George Clooney's voice coming out of some mysterious place, other than the film. An odd experience.

Given the positive reviews, I will have to check it out.

I agree with Patrick's positive review, and might have liked it even more than him!  The bad guys in this movie are a hoot. 

Cameron, I never got that feeling while watching the movie.

I did not like Tennenbaums or Life Aquatic very much, so it's a surprise how much I enjoyed Wes Anderson's two latest pics in Darjeeling and Mr. Fox.  I might just have to go back and watch those previous two to see if I completely missed the boat back when I first saw them.
