I might have to get serious about moving from iMovie to Premiere if this pans out:

January 18th is the anniversary of photoshop, speculation is that CS5 will be announced and maybe even go to Beta that day.

http://cs5.org/ predicts shipping in April of '10 which is consistant with a January announcement.  Check that site for some other cool sneak peeks.

I lost my signature and all I got was this Nutter t-shirt

I do not do a lot of video editing, but I do use Premiere for that purpose. It's decent and meets my needs.

Personally, I find the full blown Photoshop way too expensive for my basic photo editing needs, and Elements works well enough for a fraction of the cost. I just upgraded from Elements 6 to version 8 for $50.
